These terms are an agreement between you and Product Style LLP, which operates Driver2Hire. They apply when you use the Driver2Hire apps or website. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them.
1. What Driver2Hire does
Driver2Hire connects you with professional drivers who drive your own vehicle. We are not a taxi or cab service, and we do not provide vehicles. Drivers are supplied through partner agencies.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract.
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Your vehicle
Because our drivers operate your vehicle, you are responsible for ensuring it is roadworthy, legally registered, and covered by valid insurance that permits a third party to drive it. Check your policy before booking.
4. Bookings, fares and payment
- Fares are shown before you confirm. City rides start at ₹500 and outstation at ₹550 for the standard 5-hour package.
- Extra hours beyond the booked package are charged at the hourly rate shown at booking.
- A night surcharge applies to rides running between 23:00 and 06:00 India time.
- The final fare may differ from the estimate if the ride runs longer than booked.
- Payment is collected as shown in the app and confirmed by the driver.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a booking from the app. Cancellations made close to the scheduled start time may incur a cancellation fee, which is shown to you before you confirm the cancellation. If a driver cancels, we return your booking to pending and try to assign another driver.
6. Starting a ride
Each booking has a one-time password (OTP). Share it with your assigned driver only when they arrive. The OTP confirms the correct driver is starting the correct ride — do not share it in advance.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not ask a driver to break traffic laws or carry illegal goods.
- Do not abuse, threaten or discriminate against drivers or staff.
- Do not misuse the apps, attempt to access other users’ data, or interfere with our systems.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
8. Drivers and agencies
Drivers are engaged through partner agencies and are not our employees. We verify driver documents as described in our onboarding process, but agencies are responsible for their drivers’ conduct and eligibility to drive.
9. Liability
We provide the platform as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Damage to your vehicle is a matter for your motor insurance policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Driver2Hire after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
